Our Pacific series starts by choosing only the highest-grade veneer logs for production. The logs are then marked out by hand to ensure we achieve a tight vertical grain cut. The selected pieces then go through a series of processes before they are ready to be sliced into veneers. Once sliced the veneers are graded to ensure only premium A grade veneers are sent to the manufacturing facility.

The manufacturing process

Our partnership with Makihara Wood Products ensures we achieve precise engineering and accurate milling for our product. Makihara has over 28 years of experience in manufacturing high-quality engineered wood products. We use eco-friendly veneering technology which meets the requirements of the most stringent emission standards in the world. We use only the highest grade of cross-laminated birch multi-ply core for the platform of our product. This multi-ply core provides ultimate stability making for minimal seasonal movement. Our product is designed to handle extreme heat and high moisture conditions.

The finishing process

Upon completion of the milling process this raw wood product goes through our finishing facility for the final stage of manufacturing. We have designed a finish that leaves the natural beauty of the wood intact. We have three colour options for each species of wood.
